I.T. Technician
JACKSON BEVCO is hiring for a full-time I.T. Technician. This position reports directly to the I.T. Manager. The prime function of the I.T. Technician is to provide general support and “help-desk” information to stores and staff who require equipment troubleshooting analysis. This position also requires operating systems knowledge to perform basic computer maintenance & light programming. Must be able to prioritize problems based on severity and need, be versatile and flexible. Employees will follow JACKSON BEVCO policies and procedures at all times.
Job Duties: Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Perform basic computer maintenance * Run cables * Perform light programming. * Make & run Crystal Reports. * Light to moderate travel. * Flexible work schedule. * Install, maintain & troubleshoot such items as scanners, printers, cash drawers, pole displays, POS operations, networking equipment including cameras & phones. * Programming (VB.NET, Powershell, Server SQL, OPOS). * General help-desk function.
All employees may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time and as needed.
Work Conditions: This position requires repetitive computer work including keyboard use and monitor viewing. Employee may encounter light to moderate travel depending on current departmental need. Must be able to hear and articulate thoughts clearly. Position may require long periods of sitting while performing help-desk tasks or traveling. Employee may be asked to periodically perform tasks while in a retail environment which may become frequently moderately noisy.

Pay: From $38,000.00 per year
