Depth perception is required to avoid excavations and other hazards, and the ability to hear warning sounds such as horns and sirens from moving equipment is essential for safety. The role involves standing for extended periods, up to seven hours of an eight-hour shift, and the occasional lifting of items weighing up to 25 pounds.

How You'll Drive Results
- Safety Leadership: Assist in implementing and enforcing the company’s Safety & Health program, maintaining compliance with Federal, State, and City regulations. Proactively identify and address job site hazards to ensure zero safety incidents.
- Schedule and Resource Coordination: Collaborate with the Superintendent to develop and update project schedules, mobilize subcontractors, and monitor material procurement to maintain alignment with the Critical Path Method (CPM). Ensure resources and equipment are available to meet project milestones.
- Quality Assurance: Support Quality Control measures by verifying materials, overseeing inspections, and addressing non-compliant work promptly. Document progress and issues in Procore to ensure consistency and accountability.
- Team Collaboration: Build and nurture relationships with Owners, Architects, and Subcontractors. Participate in weekly subcontractor meetings and preconstruction sessions to align on goals and expectations, documenting outcomes and follow-up actions.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed project records in Procore, including daily reports, meeting minutes, and photos. Assist in tracking and resolving non-compliant work directives to ensure smooth project execution.
- Job Site Management: Assist in maintaining a clean, organized job site and ensure subcontractors adhere to cleanliness standards. Manage hourly employees and temporary laborers, including timekeeping and task allocation.
- Equipment and Risk Management: Oversee site equipment inventory and maintenance, ensuring proper care and functionality. Collaborate with the Superintendent to identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Project Closeout: Assist in completing punch lists and overseeing closeout activities in partnership with the Superintendent, Project Manager, and other team members. Ensure all deliverables meet client satisfaction and company standards.
