How You'll Drive Results
You must be able to twist, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, and climb stairs and ladders occasionally, with the ability to walk on uneven ground while navigating active construction sites. Depth perception is required to avoid excavations and other hazards, and the ability to hear warning sounds such as horns and sirens from moving equipment is essential for safety. The role involves standing for extended periods, up to seven hours of an eight-hour shift, and the occasional lifting of items weighing up to 25 pounds.

How You'll Drive Results
- Provide Documentation Management Support: Within the first 30 days, develop a thorough understanding of the RFI and submittal process. Focus on maintaining 100% accuracy in record-keeping and ensuring the prompt distribution of updates to relevant stakeholders to support seamless project communication and execution.
- Support Team Collaboration: Participate in weekly project meetings including coordination, preconstruction, and OAC meetings, capturing minutes and identifying action items to support.
- Build Stakeholder Relationships: Establish strong relationships with Owners, Architects, and Subcontractors while recording and distributing all Architect instructions, including ASIs, Addenda, RFIs, and RFPs. Ensure project teams receive actionable information within 24 hours of receipt, positioning yourself as a reliable point of contact for key communications by the midpoint of your internship.
- Gain Exposure to Construction Technology: Develop familiarity with construction management applications, including Procore, Bluebeam, and Phoenix Scheduling software, to enhance your understanding of digital project tools.
- Strengthen Career Readiness Through Job Shadowing: Spend up to 75% of your internship on the jobsite, shadowing at least three project team members to gain hands-on exposure to construction workflows, develop confidence in real-world applications, and identify potential career paths.
- Contribute to the Timely Completion of Punch Lists: When applicable, aid in the completion of project punch lists, ensuring 100% of items are addressed and documented to meet quality standards within specified timelines.
- Execute Closeout Task Deliverables: Partner with the Assistant Project Manager on specific closeout tasks, ensuring all closeout documents are completed, reviewed, and submitted by project deadlines.
