IF YOU DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCE OPERATING A 70HP CORECUT WALK-BEHIND CONCRETE SAW (or similar) PLEASE DO NOT APPLY. Jackson Construction is seeking an experienced Concrete Saw Operator for a paving crew to join our team. A Concrete Saw Operator will be responsible for utilizing both soft cut and walk behind concrete saws while following directions from supervisors and other skilled tradesmen.
General Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
-Cut concrete sidewalks, roads, curbs, etc. using 70hp walk behind saw.
-Work harmoniously and cooperatively with paving crews.
-Follow directions and instructions from supervisors.
-Perform a variety of tasks and duties that may change often as the work conditions require.
-Work within defined standards of accuracy.
-Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-Experience operating a Concrete Saw is a must.
-Experience in concrete paving is a plus.
-Ability to use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects.
-Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
-Good communication skills to work effectively and safely.
-Ability to work occasional nights and overtime, as required.
-Valid Texas Driver’s license in good standing is essential.
