- Thorough Project Scope Analysis: Review construction plans, specifications, and site conditions to develop a deep understanding of project requirements.
- Accurate Quantity Takeoffs & Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed material and labor quantity takeoffs to develop precise cost estimates for preconstruction planning and project execution.
- Subcontractor & Vendor Bid Management: Identify qualified subcontractors and suppliers, solicit competitive pricing, analyze bid proposals, and support the selection process to ensure cost-effective and well-scoped partnerships.
- Bid Tabulation & Award Recommendation: Prepare clear bid tabulations that compare cost, scope, and compliance, ensuring informed subcontractor award decisions.
- Risk Assessment & Value Engineering: Identify potential project risks and propose cost-effective alternatives while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Collaboration with Design & Operations Teams: Work closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to evaluate changes, assess cost impacts, and refine scope details.
- Cost Tracking & Historical Pricing Management: Maintain a historical cost database to enhance estimating accuracy and inform future project budgets.
- Market & Industry Analysis: Stay informed on material costs, labor rates, and market trends to provide competitive and informed estimates.
