Engineering Teacher

Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable High School Engineering Teacher to inspire and educate students in STEM-related subjects. The ideal candidate will develop and deliver engaging curriculum covering engineering principles, problem-solving, and hands-on design projects. Responsibilities include lesson planning, facilitating laboratory experiments, integrating technology, and preparing students for future careers in engineering and related fields. The teacher will also foster critical thinking, collaboration, and innovation while maintaining a supportive learning environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other STEM field
• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Eligible for GaPSC teaching certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid GaPSC teaching certification
• Teaching experience in a high school setting
• Experience incorporating technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance language learning

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed in a standard in-person classroom setting within a high school environment
• Regularly involves movement, speaking, and interacting with students, parents, and colleagues
• May require occasional lifting of materials or equipment
• Requires the ability to use classroom technology, including projectors, computers, and learning management systems
• Regular work hours are during the school day, with occasional evening or weekend commitments for parent-teacher conferences, school events, or professional development
• Must be adaptable to varying student needs and class sizes
• May include additional duties such as sponsoring extracurricular activities or supervising student clubs

Employment Terms:

• 190 Work Calendar
• Annual Salary based on degree level and previous years of experience in a similar role
