Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, providing exceptional patient care, and ensuring accurate diagnostic imaging. This role requires a strong understanding of sonography techniques, medical terminology, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
Utilize advanced sonography equipment to capture high-resolution images for interpretation by physicians.
Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of ultrasound findings.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to discuss imaging results and contribute to patient care plans.
Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols in all procedures.
Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and practices.
Assist in training new staff or students as needed.

Experience

Must be ARDMS certified in AB, OB/Gyn and RVT.
Proven experience in Ob/Gyn sonography or related fields is preferred.
Strong knowledge of physiology, diagnostic radiology, and medical imaging principles.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to ultrasound procedures.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
