What are the responsibilities and job description for the APRN - Certified Nurse Practitioner position at Jackson County Memorial Hospital?
Job Summary: Performs in an expanded role in the delivery of health care at JCMH in a selected area of specialization. Performs according to the advanced practice registered nursing standards and functions as defined by the scope of practice/role definition statements for the Certified Nurse Practitioner in Oklahoma. Functions under the direction of their physician supervisor. The physician is responsible for managing the health care of all patients. Health care services delivered by the Nurse Practitioner is an integrated practice with the physician(s) and must be within the scope of each practitioners professional license as defined by state law.

Ensures confidentiality of patient’s records. Communicates and promotes the mission, ethics and goals of the hospital.
Education/Regulatory Requirements:
- Current Certified Nurse Practitioner licensure in selected area of specialty in the State of Oklahoma required.
- Two to four years’ acceptable experience to practice autonomously in various clinical settings.
- Previous work history that demonstrates steady and punctuality is required.
