The Cafeteria Aide is responsible for the operation of the hospital cafeteria, which serves employees and guests on a daily basis. The position involves some food preparation, serving and replenishing of food items, wares and supplies, making change with money by using a standard cash register, hospitality and sanitation duties. Performs other food service duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Clinical Dietitian or Director of Food & Nutrition Services. Requirements: High school diploma or its equivalent preferred. Prior foodservice and/or nutrition related field experience preferred. Must pass the Dietary Ability Test with 80% or greater as given by the Human Resources Department. Demonstrated through prior work experience, the characteristics of steady attendance and punctuality preferred.
