What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food & Nutrition Aide position at Jackson County Memorial Hospital?
Works one of the positions, which have varied food service responsibilities. Involved in food production, assembly, distributing and retrieving patient trays, catering functions, dishwashing, general sanitation duties, delivering trays and stock to the floors. Limited general menu duties and other food service duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Clinical Dietitian or Director of Food & Nutrition Services.
Requirements: High school diploma or its equivalent preferred. Prior foodservice and/or nutrition related field experience preferred. Must pass the Dietary Ability Test with 80% or greater as given by the Human Resources Department. Demonstrated through prior work experience, the characteristics of steady attendance and punctuality preferred.
