- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure in the State of Oklahoma required.
- Experience in various clinical settings preferred, but new grads welcome.
- Previous work history that demonstrates steady and punctuality is required.
- Elicits health history appropriate for type of visit, i.e. wellness, chronic care, acute care, follow-up, counseling.
- History includes history of present illness, history of previous illness and/or surgeries, review of systems, family and social history.
- History includes evaluation of development, maturation, coping ability, activities of daily living, emotional and social well-being as appropriate.
- Physical examination is appropriate for age, gender and type of visit.
- Physical examination is comprehensive and appropriate for presenting problem and routine screening.
- Physical examination is documented appropriately.
- Diagnostic tests are appropriate for the evaluation being performed.
- Results are documented in the medical record.
- Appropriate action is taken and documented based on the results of the diagnostic test, i.e. referral, treatment, teaching, further evaluation, etc.
- The patient is informed of diagnostic test results.
- Assists Orthopedic Surgeon in OR.
- Demonstrates ability to be flexible and organized; demonstrates ability to function well under stressful situation.
- Displays courtesy and caring attitude toward patient and visitors.
- Develops and implements, with the individual and/or family, a plan of care to promote, maintain and restore health based on current standards of care.
