Duties:
- Provide administrative support to lawyers and legal professionals
- Organize and maintain legal documents and files
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information
- Prepare and proofread legal documents, such as briefs and pleadings
- Handle phone calls and inquiries with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and court hearings
- Perform general clerical duties as needed
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in proofreading legal documents for errors or inconsistencies
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite
Note: A paralegal certificate or degree in a related field may be preferred but not required for this position.
