What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Services Program Specialist position at Jackson County Public Library?
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma
Good technology, customer service, organizational, and clerical skills required
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Drive
Experience with and a love for children
Driver's license with a good driving record
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning and conducting children's programs, shelving children's materials and assisting at the Kids Room help desk.
SCHEDULE: averaging 28 hours/week includes daytime, evening, and Saturday hours.
Monday 10 am - 7 pm
Wednesday 9 am - 1:30 pm
Thursday 9:30 am - 6 pm (every other week alternating w/Saturdays)
Friday 9 am - 6 pm
Saturday 9 am - 5 pm (every other week alternating with Thursdays)
SALARY: $17/hour
BENEFITS: Immediate paid holidays when scheduled. Pro-rated sick, vacation, and personal days after six months.
