Administrator- Principal
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Exempt Position; 12 Month; Starting July 2025
LOCATION: To Be Determined
SALARY: Salary placement will be determined by the NC State Salary Schedule for School Administrators.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold NC School Administrators License (0012: Principal) with a minimum of two successful years as Director, Principal, or Assistant Principal experience preferred; knowledge of NC Standard Course of Study required.
DUTIES: The Principal serves as the chief administrator of the school in developing and implementing policies, programs, curriculum, activities, and budgets in accordance with Board policies, state and federal laws, and the policies of the State Board of Education. These duties will be carried out in a manner which promotes the educational development of each student and the professional development of each faculty and staff member. The Principal will uphold all standards as designated in the North Carolina School Executive Standards (Strategic, Instructional, Cultural, Human Resources, Managerial, External Development, Micro-political, and Academic Achievement). Additional duties may be assigned by the Superintendent or designee.
