Maintenance General Laborer - Jackson Dawson, Dearborn, MI
Jackson Dawson seeks a skilled Maintenance General Laborer for our Dearborn office headquarters. The ideal candidate is a versatile handyperson with comprehensive building maintenance expertise and a strong work ethic.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00/hr. with health benefits, 401(k), and PTO
Responsibilities:
- Perform diverse building maintenance tasks, including:
Minor repairs (lighting, drywall, furniture, plumbing)
Systems monitoring (temperature, leaks, appliances)
Facility upkeep (snow removal, landscaping, cleaning) - Maintain organized mechanical, electrical, and storage areas
- Coordinate with licensed vendors for specialized repairs
- Conduct regular building system inspections
- Execute additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of general labor experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Physical requirements:
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Comfortable using ladders
