Summary
We are seeking an Associate Medical Director - Infectious Disease to join our nonprofit, Jackson Memorial Hospital located in Miami, Florida. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the
comprehensive care of patients across both outpatient clinics and inpatient settings. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality, evidence-based care to our diverse patient
population and advancing the field of infectious diseases.
Requirements
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Fellowship training in Infectious Diseases.
Valid full Florida Medical License.
Dedication to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a
culturally diverse healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with infectious diseases in both outpatient clinics and inpatient settings, including
history taking, physical examination, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on best practices and patient-specific factors, ensuring optimal outcomes and
patient satisfaction.
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, consultations, and case conferences to provide expert recommendations and contribute to
collaborative care.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers about infectious diseases, treatment options, and preventive measures, promoting active engagement
in healthcare decision-making.
Engage in scholarly activities, including research, quality improvement initiatives, and educational programs, to advance the
understanding and management of infectious diseases.
