Summary:
The Jackson Health System Emergency Medicine Residency Program is seeking an Associate Program Director to join our expanding leadership team. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and innovative educator who is committed to resident development, mentorship, and academic excellence. Our ideal candidate will have experience in academic and administrative leadership, a strong passion for medical education, and an interest in shaping the future of our residency program. Preference will be given to fellowship-trained applicants. Position will include clinical work with protected time.
Qualifications:
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
Experience in graduate medical education and administrative leadership preferred
Fellowship training is strongly preferred
Strong commitment to innovation, mentorship, and resident education

Founded in 2015, our three-year emergency medicine residency is structured with a progressive and innovative curriculum that emphasizes simulation, small-group learning, and hands-on experience. We foster a dynamic and evolving training environment and continuously integrate feedback from residents and faculty to enhance the learning experience.

Credentials
- Valid Florida Medical License.
- Active DEA and board certification is required. Other specialty certifications related to specialty are a plus.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)and any additional applicable (ACLS/ATLS) life support certification for Healthcare Providers is required upon hire with at least 6 months validity and maintenance at JHS for the duration of employment.
