**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Jackson Healthcare Government Services (JHGS). As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based individual counseling services to patients within a mental health or healthcare facility.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assessing and providing evidence-based individual counseling services to patients with various mental health conditions.
- Conducting psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources.
- Establishing psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders.
- Providing psychological treatment for individuals and groups; helping medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries.
**Requirements:**
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited psychology program or a program acceptable to the Office of the Surgeon General, U.S. Air Force.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any state, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or US Virgin Islands.
- At least 12 months of experience in the last 24 months with assessing and providing evidence-based individual counseling to patients within a mental health or healthcare facility.
