Jackson Hewitt Tax Service is hiring Customer Service Professionals now to secure staff for the busy upcoming tax season (December through April 2024). We are seeking several full-time customer service agents/data entry professional for our tax offices. Busy, but fun and friendly environment.
Qualifications:
- Some College, High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Experience Preparing Individual income tax returns is nice but not necessary
- PTIN or ability to obtain PTIN provides advancement
- Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax preparation helpful.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills a must.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with tax software a plus
- Review financial records
- Strength in posting appointments and communication with clients
- High level of confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- Market Jackson Hewitt Services to Walmart associates and customers
- Provides details to customers concerning appropriate company products and services.
- Follow up with customers for additional information, as necessary, to insure accurate completion of tax returns.
- Reviews all tax return forms for accuracy and completeness, scan all documents to file, records customer info on excel spreadsheet for drop offs.
- Resolves customer complaints, or refers situations to supervisor (as appropriate) for resolution.
- Assists with general office support such as filing, mailing, etc., when necessary exceed established goals.
- Performs other duties as required.
Appointments are already pre-booked for the 2024 tax season. CSAs are scheduled to meet with clients in our office to collect income tax information. This position offers a flexible schedule. This position has the option to work days, evenings, weekends or variety of times, whichever is most convenient to you.
