Job Description
Direct and coordinates daily activities of the quality and regulatory compliance department. In collaboration with the Division Director of Quality, Patient Safety, and Professional Development, this position contributes to the success of the organization by monitoring a quality management program that is consistent with the organization’s strategic plan and informs a culture of innovation and process improvement.
The responsibilities include the coordination of data collection, hospital quality improvement initiatives and Regulatory Compliance activities along with communication of the results of these activities to administration, nursing, and the medical staff. This position coordinates and oversees Quality Coordinator activities including the adherence to The Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality (CIHQ) Programs and other regulatory programs. The Quality Manager will serve on a variety of interdisciplinary teams and committees and works collaboratively with hospital leadership to successfully drive improvement.
Requirements
Registered Nurse, BSN Preferred. Minimum 2-3 years experience in Nursing. 3 years’ experience in quality and/or regulatory compliance preferred. Current Alabama Nursing License.
