What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Partnership for Success Specialist position at Jackson Madison Prevention Coalition?
The Regional Partnership for Success Specialist is responsible for addressing the goals of the Strategic Prevention Framework: Partnership for Success Regional Grant. Goals include reducing the prevalence of e-cigarettes, marijuana; strengthen state and regional prevention infrastructure and capacity; leverage state funding streams for substance use prevention; and increase mental health awareness, promote wellbeing for youth and young adults. This position will concentrate on planning and implementation of evidence-based prevention programs and strategies in the Southwest region, Tennessee with concentration in Madison County and mentor at least one other unfunded county.
This position is funded by a contract between the State of Tennessee Department of Mental and Substance Abuse Services and Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
