Receipting/AR Clerk Full-Time Receipting/AR Clerk Position5 Years of Medical Accounting/Remittance Advice Posting experience. CPSI experience required. Basic Excel knowledge is required.
•Accurately post insurance payments and adjustments to patient accounts promptly.
•Review remittance advice for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
•Collaborate with the billing department to ensure proper handling of accounts payable.
•Balance postings to bank deposits daily.
•Maintain detailed records of all posting entries.
•Analyze financial reports to identify trends or issues related to payment processing.
•Utilize the CPSI EMR system, Thrive, to post payments.
•Communicate effectively with insurance companies and patients regarding payment inquiries.
•Uphold professional phone etiquette while handling calls related to payment processing.
•Position can be on-site or remote.
