Hydrovac Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Hydro Excavator Operator/Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of trucks and heavy machinery and experience in water/wastewater or other types of underground utilities. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all OSHA and DOT regulations while delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydro-excavator to preform routine and emergency maintenance on water and wastewater utilities.
• Drive in urban and residential areas with tandem or tri-axle commercial vehicles
• May operate other equipment standard to industry including mini excavator, skid steer
• May be asked to lead crew and oversee job site safety and quality
• Subject to on-call for water/wastewater emergency

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
• Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of truck operations.
• Experience with backhoe Mini Excavator operation, dump truck driving, front loader truck driving, and tanker operation is preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with operating heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of underground utilities; water and waste water
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
