Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct a team of surfacing professionals in applying pool finishes, making necessary repairs, and ensuring quality craftsmanship.
- Create a positive and productive work environment by providing guidance, support, and real-time feedback to crew members.
- Ensure each project is completed according to schedule, budget, and client specifications.
- Inspect and evaluate surfaces before application to confirm proper preparation, including checking for cracks, foreign materials, and other defects.
- Train crew members on proper techniques, tools, and materials for pool resurfacing.
- Ensure all tools, machinery, and materials are properly maintained, organized, and ready for daily use.
- Make quick, informed decisions to address challenges related to materials, weather conditions, or site conditions.
- Work closely with the project manager and other team leaders to ensure smooth coordination of all aspects of the project.
- Serve as the primary point of contact on job sites, maintaining professional and clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring the finished product meets or exceeds expectations.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in plastering, pool surfacing, and pebble application.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with prior experience leading crews in a construction or surfacing setting.
- Deep understanding of cementitious coatings, resurfacing techniques, and quality control measures.
- Ability to identify and resolve technical challenges quickly and effectively.
- High level of attention to detail, particularly in inspecting surfaces, managing materials, and ensuring a uniform finish.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
- Experience training and mentoring field staff, ensuring consistency in workmanship and adherence to best practices.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to job sites within Missouri and neighboring states as needed.
- Full Time Position
- Base salary starts at $80,000 per year, plus additional incentives based on project performance.
