Job Summary

Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care to geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (with the option to not take pediatric patients). Key responsibilities include:

- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
Unit Information
The Med/Surg - 3rd & 4th unit at Jackson Purchase Medical Center has 65 beds and operates with patient ratios of up to 1:8, assisted by PCA support. The Electronic Health Record (EHR) system used is Meditech.
Work Environment
This role requires flexibility in scheduling, with varying shifts and guaranteed weekly hours of 36. Weekend hours are worked every other weekend, with no call requirements. Opportunities exist for floating to like units.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- A valid RN license
- BLS certification
- 1-2 years of experience as a Medical-Surgical RN (new graduates welcome)
