Copywriter

Controlled Holdings, ‘Indiana Best Places to Work’ and an award-winning distributor of HVAC controls, is seeking a talented and imaginative Copywriter to join our in-house agency’s creative marketing team. In this role, you will report directly to the Creative Director and craft compelling and engaging content that communicates our brand story, connects with our audience, and drives business results. From crafting attention-grabbing headlines to producing thoughtful long-form content, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our voice and messaging across various platforms.

Details, Details

• Write clear, persuasive, and engaging copy for marketing materials, including websites, emails, social media, brochures, product descriptions, and advertisements.

• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to create messaging that aligns with brand guidelines and supports business objectives.

• Conduct research to understand our industry, products, and target audience, translating insights into impactful copy.

• Develop content strategies that drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and support lead generation efforts.

• Edit and proofread materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to tone and style.

• Collaborate with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to produce cohesive and visually appealing content.

• Utilize A/B testing to monitor and measure the effectiveness of campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

• Work with SEO specialist to develop SEO-friendly content to improve visibility on search engines and contribute to the overall digital marketing strategy.

• Assist in developing messaging for presentations, proposals, and other internal and external communications.

What We Are Looking For

• 2-3 years of relevant experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.

• Outstanding written and oral communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for staying ahead of digital marketing trends.
