Job Summary
We are seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week contract position at a state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility in Bettendorf, Iowa.
Job Description:
As a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision and direction of an Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for everyday life.
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Develop and implement treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and abilities
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Minimum of an associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college
- Current certification in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- Current hands-on CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Current medical documentation and testing
- Current state and contract-required competency tests and credentials
