The successful candidate will have at least one year of experience in Emergency/Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or a related field, and will possess strong skills in pediatrics and basic procedures. A Jackson Urgent Care Physician Assistant (PA)/Nurse Practitioner is a licensed, certified, non-physician healthcare provider who actively renders direct patient care in the highest rated urgent care system in Michigan and possesses delegated prescriptive authority, is credentialed and privileged, and whose service is billed as an independent billing provider, as recognized by Medicare and Medicaid within the healthcare systems, and in accordance with the appropriate board.

The clinic is open 9am-8pm daily. 9am-3pm on major holidays. Contingent / Part-Time staff clinic on average 4-6 shifts per month for contingent/part-time position. Weekend and holiday availability is required and on a rotational basis with other providers.

QUALIFICATIONS

- EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program

- EXPERIENCE - MINIMUM 1 Year of Experience preferably in family medicine, urgent care, emergency or internal medicine

-MUST BE proficient and skilled in common urgent care procedures - sutures, incision & drainage, wound care

State of MI Certified/Licensed

Current DEA and Controlled Substances License in MI or the eligibility to apply
