Post-Closing Clerk

Reports To : Office Manager
Jackson Walker, Texas’ largest law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a Post-Closing Clerk in our Dallas office. Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the Post-Closing Clerk is responsible for assisting with all client closings, completing post-closing matters for clients, and consistently observing confidentiality in all client and Firm matters. This position allows for growth opportunities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Specific duties of this position include, but are not limited to :
- Preparation of closing binders and files for closing.
- Compiles final agreements and exhibits for signature.
- Coordinates with lending clients to ensure proper filing of post-closing documents.
- Manages post-closing items and track progress.
- Gathers research of legal documents and public records to verify information on properties.
- Routes information on all new files to attorneys in Firm.
- Maintains the client files within the section filing room.
- Manages and tracks files that are checked out to other staff.
- Assists with pulling client invoices, marking paid and filing paid invoices.
- Review of due diligence submissions.
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
