Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

Summary of Position:
Execution of sales polices, plans and programs, to achieve company's sales goals for assigned territory to promote/increase territory sales volume. Ensure that Jackson's representatives and dealers are trained on the complete product line. This position requires an intimate knowledge of the industry and a continuous awareness of the competitive situation.
Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities (include the following but are not limited to)
- Meet or exceed sales and margin plan.
- Ensure adequate staffing and focus of assigned Rep Groups to support Jackson sales effort.
- Ensure no outstanding customer issues are unresolved.
- Participate and provide information for strategic planning – pricing, programs and budgeting.
- Maintain expenses within budgeted levels.
- Grow the business with assigned dealers, key end users, consultants, chains and new products
- Routinely visit the dealers within the specified territory to ensure the company integrity and quality are performing as necessary to ensure repeat sales. Develop a business relationship with the key personnel at key dealers in assigned territory
- Oversee and manage field rep organization within assigned territory to maximize effectiveness with key end users, dealers, and consultants
- Make decisions concerning discounts, terms, etc., as approved in accordance with current market conditions and communicate same.
- Resolve field issues/problems as required.
- Attend and assist in trade shows, sales meetings, buying group conferences and seminars.
- Fulfill the financial control & risk management responsibilities inherent in the position
- Conduct yourself in accordance with the Company Code of Ethics Policy at all times.
Work Environment:
Work is accomplished in an office setting and in the field. 70%-85% travel is required.

Knowledge & Skills:
- Skilled in written and verbal communications.
- Ability to travel approximately 70-85% of the time.
- A background in the food service industry an asset.
- Knowledge of PC functions, Microsoft Office Applications
Education & Experience Required:
- Five plus years experience in sales, sales management, product development and/or general sales experience preferably in the food service industry (heavy equipment).
- Bachelor's Degree in science, engineering, general business, Sales and Marketing or related training
