What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sterile Processing Tech position at Jacksonville Beach Surgery Center?
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our team PRN. Responsible for the decontamination, cleaning, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment, ensuring all items are properly prepared and ready for patient use in accordance with strict infection control guidelines; must have a strong understanding of sterilization techniques and be certified or eligible for certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST). Experience with eye and total joint service lines preferred.
