About the Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional football team and a member of the National Football League’s AFC South Division. The Jaguars are one of the NFL’s youngest franchises, playing their first regular season home game on Sept. 3, 1995, in Jacksonville, Fla., and have since won four division titles. In 2024, the Jaguars and the City of Jacksonville announced plans to move forward with a reimagined Stadium of the Future, securing Jaguars football in Jacksonville for generations to come, plus a continuation of annual traditions of the Florida-Georgia Football Classic and TaxSlayer Gator Bowl while also opening opportunities for future Super Bowls, Final Four tournaments, college football playoffs, marquee concerts and more. Using research derived from Jaguars fans, stadium guests and a comprehensive assessment of the facility's structure, the Stadium of the Future will be a world-class venue for a world-class city that showcases a facility that is environmentally friendly, cost effective and presents state-of-the-art innovation. The Stadium of the Future features a protective canopy, wider concourses, new communal spaces, scenic lookout decks, immersive in-bowl technology, new seating types and a public Floridian nature park.

Jaguars assistantships offer meaningful educational work experiences designed to meet your academic and career goals. Management and staff will teach and encourage, but it’s up to you to bring an enthusiasm to learn. Through this program, you will identify learning goals and work with Jaguars management to achieve those goals.
The Seasonal Guest Experience Assistantship is designed to provide young professionals an experience with the day-to-day operations of the Jacksonville Jaguars Guest Experience department. The assistantship will offer opportunities for professional development and practical, “hands on” experience working with our front office, gameday team members and stadium partners at EverBank Stadium and Daily’s Place.
What You Will Learn from Your Responsibilities:
- How to respond to guest and employee suggestions, questions, complaints or comments in an event day and follow-up setting
- How to plan and execute events held by the Jaguars and Daily’s Place
- How to assist with the strategic planning for the Jaguars NFL season and Daily’s Place Concert season
- How to supervise areas and Guest Experience team members on event day and major stadium events at EverBank Stadium and Daily’s Place
- How to monitor and update inventory, including event collateral for stadium partners and team member technology
- How to create, organize and distribute team member resources for game day, concerts, and major stadium events
- How to generate post-event reports for issue resolution and talking points for upcoming event day meetings, including survey analysis from guests and team members
- How to train and prepare event staff for the upcoming season, including Daily’s Place and Jaguars
- How to manage a department calendar, including concerts, trainings and major stadium events
- How to plan and execute team member engagement events, during both in-season and off-season
- How to maintain the Sensory Room and Mom Pod, including any repairs and proposed improvements
- How to prepare the guest services booths, concierge desks and kiosks for event day
- How to collaborate with other Jaguars internal departments (such as ticketing, sponsorship, events, etc.)
Assistantship Qualifications:
Required:
- Customer Service experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish priorities and manage time effectively
- Available to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays and weekends
Preferred:
- Supervisory experience
- Public speaking experience
Other Details:
- Term: May 2025 – March 2026 (8 months, part-time)
