About the Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional football team and a member of the National Football League’s AFC South Division. The Jaguars are one of the NFL’s youngest franchises, playing their first regular season home game on Sept. 3, 1995, in Jacksonville, Fla., and have since won four division titles. Summary
We are hiring a Seasonal Utility/Receiver to join the dining team at the Jacksonville Jaguars! As part of the team, you will be responsible for general cleanliness and maintenance duties at our organization’s facility. The Seasonal Utility/Receiver also performs basic kitchen duties, inspects utility projects and maintains various stock levels. This role is also focused on health and safety guidelines essential to operations. This part-time, season-long role is for an afternoon/evening shift. We are looking for someone who enjoys using their aptitude for service to maintain and elevate a great experience for guests, which is essential for this position.
Job Responsibilities
- Follow instructions from the company’s Team Dining and performance managers.
- Perform basic kitchen duties such as food prep, cleaning list, and stocking items from vendors.
- Inform the kitchen managers of orders; maintain the cleaning supplies and maintenance equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is handled safely.
- Wash all dishes and utensils.
- Organize utensils, pots and pans, dishes, etc.
- Assist in putting away deliveries from vendors.
- Empty all trash, sweep, and mop the kitchen floor.
- At the end of the shift, ensure that the utility station is closed.
- Other duties as assigned by kitchen leadership.
Job Requirements
Required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous work experience in the same domain.
- Follow instructions from the company’s Team Dining and performance managers.
- Perform basic kitchen duties such as food prep, cleaning list, and stocking items from vendors.
- Inform the kitchen managers of orders; maintain the cleaning supplies and maintenance equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long durations.
- Ability to operate professional cleaning equipment and experience in different cleaning techniques.
- Must handle chemicals in a safe and efficient manner.
- Experience with handling heavy-duty equipment.
- Experience in a professional work environment.
- Have a positive attitude and ability to take initiative.
