What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Lead position at Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp?
The Kitchen Lead would work in one of three main kitchen areas that service different spaces of the ballpark. Kitchen Leads would be responsible for helping the Culinary Operations manager supervise and execute all aspects of food preparation, production, and safety and sanitation in the kitchens. The ideal candidate must have experience in a professional or industrial kitchen. Depending on the restaurant or establishment, line cook experience would also be considered. Candidates must have a Food Handlers' Card or ServSafe Certificate per the Health Department.

Main Kitchen - caters all the suites as well as cooks certain items that are utilized in the concession stands. Also bulk prepping tasks.
Right Field Hall Kitchen - caters all party areas, the PNC Home Plate Club, and also operates as a made-to-order sports bar once the gates open to the public.
Wheelhouse Kitchen - operates like a fast casual restaurant, serving a made-to-order menu.
Along with the 75 home games, the Kitchen Leads will work off-weeks to prep for the home series, giving more opportunities for work. These kitchens also operate in the off-season for special events.
