Job Details

  • Position / Specialty : Respiratory Therapist
  • Shift : 3x12 Nights
  • 25 bed unit.
  • Years of experience REQ : Minimum 3 years' experience required.
  • First-timers accepted : No.
  • Weekend REQ : Will work every other weekend
  • Is on-call REQ? No.
  • Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? May float if needed.
  • Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager.
  • Locals accepted : Yes- no radius.
  • Pending License accepted : Yes.
  • RTO Restrictions : Discuss time off requests with manager.
  • Guaranteed Hours : Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours.

    • Job Requirements

  • ACLS, BLS, NRP, and State License required.
  • CRT also accepted.
  • Required Work Setting Experience : Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department.
  • Required Airway Management Devices / Suctioning : Endotracheal tube / suctioning, Extubation, Intubation Assist, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oropharyngeal / suctioning.
  • Required Patient Care Experience / Skills : Patients with ARDS, Aspiration, COVID, and Pneumonia.
  • Required Medication Administration Skills / Experience : Albuterol, Atrovent, Inhaled steroids, Lidocaine, Mucomyst, Perforomist, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Xopenex.
  • Required Medication Delivery Systems Skills / Experience : Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach.
  • Required Nebulizer Skills / Experience : Hand held, T-piece, Trach collar.
  • Required Oxygen therapy skills / experience : Bag and mask, ET Tube, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Trach Collar.
  • Required Ventilator Management Skills / Experience : BiPAP, CPAP, IMV (intermittent Mandatory Ventilation), Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation.
  • Pressure / Volume Ventilator experience required.
  • Required Professional Knowledge and Skills : ABG interpretation, Basic EKG, Chest Physiotherapy.

    • Schedule Information

  • 3x12 Nights
  • Will work every other weekend
  • Discuss schedule requests with manager.

    • Unit Specific Information

  • 25 bed unit
  • Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department experience required.

    • Additional Details

  • A legible copy of a valid / current US Driver’s license or US ID card
  • Badge photo required within a week of signing. This is due no later than Monday before start.
  • Candidate must review and sign within 7 days of signing contract.
