Job Summary:
The Part Time International Recruiter and Advisor is an in-person, hybrid position of recruiting for international programs and advising international students. International recruitment through webinars, in person events to recruit transfer F-1 students and other recruitment duties. Ensures international students and the University are following federal rules and regulations for F-1 and J-1 visa holders. Serves as Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) for the University and advises on visa, immigration and SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) processes.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education.
- Previous experience in higher education, international education or related fields.
- Must be a US citizen or legal permanent resident per Federal government requirements for SEVIS access.
- Must be willing and able to travel domestically and work evenings as needed.
- Higher education recruitment experience
- Knowledge of F and J visa regulations
- Knowledge of SEVIS, Terra Dotta and related software
- Exposure to a second language or cultures,
- Experience studying or living abroad.
- Experience working in an international student and scholars’ office.
