This includes assisting with social media and website content development and to produce digital medium such as photographs, graphics, and related promotional items. - Assist in the daily operations of the Jacksonville State University Police, Health, and Public Safety social media platforms.
- Create engaging and informative content that promotes safety initiatives, community events, and important updates.
- Content Creation:
- Design visually appealing content, including alerts, announcements, and community engagement content.
- Monitoring and Engagement:
- Monitor and engage with students and the broader community through interactive content, such as polls, Q&A sessions, updates.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports on social media engagement and content.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other campus departments to ensure cohesive messaging and promote joint events.
- Training and Development:
- Stay informed about best practices in social media management, public safety, and community-oriented policing.
- Additional duties as required by the department.
- Mus have a valid Driver’s License.
- Must not have been convicted of a felony or crime of moral turpitude.
- must be enrolled as a JSU student taking at least three (3) hours per fall or spring semester. (Requirements for international students below. *)
- If not a first-time student, the applicant must have a GPA of 2.00 or higher.
- Selected applicants must provide evidence of student enrollment and GPA (unofficial transcript or printout of enrollment/GPA from MyJSU.
- All International Students must be in a valid immigration status.
