Work up to two days a week in figure drawing classes for 3-hour increments
Position Summary :
The University Student Assistant / Art Model position will allow you to obtain work experience in the Figure Drawing / Painting classes as a model. The University Student Assistant / Art Model is responsible for modeling a variety of poses sustained over varying periods of time. This position requires you to be able to maintain a professional attitude and appearance, while being patient and discreet. Duties for the art model include but are not limited to, sitting, and standing in a pose for a period of time so that students can draw you. Additional duties may be required by the department as needed.
Positions may be filled based on individual applicants' skills, qualifications, and departmental needs.
Adheres to all department and University policies and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Sit or Stand still for a period of time so that students can draw you.
- Must possess the ability to hold a pose for 15 minutes.
- Maintain confidentiality of information.
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
- Be able to have Patience and the ability to be discreet.
- Must be agile.
- Must be comfortable in posing for longer periods of time.
- Be able to work cooperatively with a diverse body of faculty, staff, and students.
