- Build positive relationships within residential community life.
- Proactively address potential safety issues (DPS Operational Plan, 2023, Goal 2).
- Conduct lighting, door, fire extinguisher, automated external defibrillator checks, and monitor security cameras.
- Engage with members of the campus community to provide transportation directions, information about the Cocky Watch Program.
- Serve as a liaison from residents to police in addressing public safety concerns.
- Provide escorts at night, assist motorists, work events with large crowds, and conduct traffic control.
- Support first responders on calls for service.
- Additional duties as required by the department.

- Selected applicants must provide evidence of student enrollment and GPA (unofficial transcript or printout of enrollment/GPA from MyJSU.
- All International Students must be in a valid immigration status.
