Job Title: Student Financial Services Associate, Sponsorship
Department: SE&E-Student Financial Services
Position Reports to: Associate Director, Student Financial Account Services
Job Summary
Under general direction, coordinates the activities of the Student Financial Services Sponsorship programs, including the delivery of core services; performs duties related to data gathering and reporting, budget monitoring, customer relations, or other specialized services; coordinates third party billing processes for sponsored students.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Verify Sponsored Billing Information
- Invoice Student AT for Sponsorship Billing
- Invoice third party billing for sponsored students
- Assist students with inquiries and questions regarding third party billing/sponsorships.
- Process Sponsorship Payments
- Manage the weekly refund process working closely with the Financial Aid Office
- Reconcile Ecommerce refunds weekly
- Process Emergency Loans
- Reconcile Accounts for third party receivable billing
- Weekly student account review
- Provide back-up to Cashiers' when needed
- Update the Clearance to Fly List for Aviation majors (back- up)
- Work as a team on all assigned functions to ensure all areas of SFS are being supported and there is sufficient office coverage during all hours of operation, including assistance in other departments as the need arises. This includes effective interaction with internal and external customers to answer questions, provide information and assistance, respond to concerns in a pleasant and professional manner, and perform duties of office functions as assigned. Monitor and adhere to established SFS timelines and schedules including any reoccurring annual activities and deadlines Performs other related duties or special projects as assigned by supervisor.

- Math Skills: Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; compute rate, ratio, and percent.

- Technical Skills: Ability to manage and track document changes; create, modify and format templates and files; ability to use multiple computer screens and multitask in several computer applications
- Customer Service Skills: Ability to actively listen, discern key information, and respond professionally; ask follow up or clarifying questions to diffuse escalated situations and offer appropriate problem resolution when necessary.

Education, Certificates, Licenses, and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience: 2 years of relevant experience
- Additional experience information:
- Previous accounting experience
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach.
- Manual dexterity to efficiently operate a computer keyboard and other business machines. Adequate hearing to communicate effectively in person and by phone.
