Maintenance Worker (part-time) - Mini Storage

Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Part-Time Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the upkeep, repair, and overall maintenance of our facility to ensure a standard of cleanliness and functionality across our premises, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained in optimal condition, contributing to a safe and efficient environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of the premises to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Conduct minor repairs, including plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry tasks.
• Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility, including sweeping, and garbage removal.
• Assist with grounds maintenance, such as plant care, weed removal, cleaning and general landscaping.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and report any major repairs needed to management.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Maintains a safe environment for employees and customers.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations and resolve any maintenance-related issues.

Experience

• Proven experience in general maintenance or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and tools.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Performs other duties as assign, work with minimum direct supervision, operates effectively on a team.
• Must be able to lift and carry tools and objects up to 40 pounds, and perform physical tasks as required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 27 per week
