Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the carpentry field while working alongside skilled professionals. The Carpenter Apprentice will assist in various construction projects, learning essential skills and techniques necessary for a successful career in carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced carpenters with the installation of flooring, trim, and cabinetry.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks.
• Help with caulking, painting, and finishing work to ensure high-quality results.
• Follow schematics and blueprints to understand project specifications.
• Support the team in heavy lifting and moving materials as needed on job sites.
• Learn to plumb walls and install electrical components under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.

Experience

• Previous experience or coursework related to carpentry or construction is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with flooring installation techniques is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in carpentry.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction work.
• Willingness to learn new skills, including trim carpentry and electrical work, as part of the apprenticeship program.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
