RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Perform all work in compliance with company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Responsible for general upkeep and maintenance of all facilities and equipment as needed
- Complete appropriate documentation and paperwork
- Complete general preventative activities, repairs, and housekeeping tasks
- Repair, maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment such as: pumps, motors, valves, manifolds, and gauges
- Layout, cut, fit, and prepare pipe and other material for welding
- Work from blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS DESIRED:
- Eighteen months of equivalent outside experience with excellent work, conduct and attendance record.
- Ability to accept supervision/direction and work effectively and cooperatively with other people
- Must possess basic math skills in regard to addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of pipeline systems
- Ability to focus attention and follow work rules
- Knowledge of boiler operations, restarting, blow-down and annual inspection.
- Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists without detailed instructions
- Successful completion of background check, pre-employment drug screening and random drug screenings
- Must be willing to work all shifts, extended hours, overtime, weekend, and holidays as needed and required
- Must be available to respond to callouts as assigned and adhere to a rotating callout schedule.
- While performing duties if the job, employee will regularly sit/stand; use hands/fingers; reach with arms and hands; kneel; crouch; crawl; climb up/down ladders; frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) within first 30 days of employment.
- High School or equivalent diploma
- Previous welding experience required; welding certificate holders preferred.
