Director of Nursing Women's Services and Children's Services Roles

A large healthcare organization seeks a Director of Women’s Services (RN) and a Director of Children's Services (RN).

DIRECTOR OF WOMEN’S SERVICES - (Tennessee)

• 23 hospital system
• Dedicated Women’s & Children’s Hospital
• The director will be responsible for Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, GYN, and Antepartum.
• L&D – 23 beds / 110 FTE’s
• M/B – 48 beds / 79 FTE’s
• GYN – 24 beds / 25 FTE’s
• Antepartum – 10 beds
• NICU will be placed under this director within 1 year (this will add 40 beds, 157 FTEs, and 1 manager)
• 5,200 births/year
• 105 total beds
• 233 total FTEs
• 3 direct reports (3 managers)
• Plans to open an OB Emergency Department (OBED) in the L&D within the next couple of years are underway.

DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN’S SERVICES - (Tennessee)

• 23 hospital system
• Dedicated Women’s & Children’s Hospital
• The director will be responsible for Peds/PICU, Peds ED, Perch (triage area)
• Peds/PICU – 12 beds / 37 FTE’s
• ED – 30K visits / 39 FTEs / 10 beds
• Perch (triage area) – 3 beds / 9 FTE’s
• Float pool – 10 FTE’s
• 25 total beds
• 85 total FTEs
• 3 direct reports (3 managers)
