We're looking for a LSNA HVAC Subject Matter Expert / Head of Engineering, West Coast Life Sciences in San Francisco, CA who is excited about working on advanced facilities projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to both support and lead projects at some of the world’s most state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. This is a unique role that will allow the candidate to showcase technical and leadership skills. The individual will be a critical member of the West Coast Life Sciences group along with being a key contributor to Life Sciences, North America business. The individual will provide expertise and be a part of large, complex life sciences programs by collaborating with our North America and global Life Sciences team. The individual will also support growth of the west coast Life Sciences business by providing technical oversight and leadership to the engineering team. You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will successfully deliver on the design, development, application, evaluation, recommendation, and specification of engineered systems and products for building HVAC, Utility, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems and components. You will coordinate work activities with other design and engineering professionals and project management, locally and globally.

Here's what you'll need :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 20 years of practical application of mechanical engineering and design, including HVAC, Utilities, fire protection, plumbing, and related mechanical building systems
- Professional Engineer (PE)
- Ability to lead a medium to large team of designers and engineers
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, locally and globally, including multi-disciplinary teams, with clients, and construction teams
- Ability to support our global Life Sciences organization to support critical programs worldwide.
- Passion for buildings and construction
- Proficient working knowledge of Revit software
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
- Highly strategic and motivational leader.
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base

This role is staffed out of our San Francisco office as a hybrid position with approximately 3 days per week in the office or on client sites as needed for projects. Individuals will be considered for the position in the location near our Irvine office.

Salary : The base salary range for this position is $214,200.00 to $295,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
