Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a “Gameco Technician” for Cash Magic—Lake Charles. The Louisiana Cash Magic Truck Plaza & Casino incorporates 27 video gaming facilities situated throughout the state. Each site features a convenience store, fueling operations, a restaurant and up to 50 poker machines. The video gaming machines are in a separate gaming room that offers a casino-like atmosphere and provides the road weary traveler an exciting break from the highways.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversees correct operation of video poker machines in designated truck stop locations.
- Responsible for all aspects of device repair, machine conversions, changing class, routine preventative maintenance, and EPROM replacement
- Perform all responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures
- Responsible for completion of all necessary end-of-day paperwork and forwarding any end-of-day reports to the appropriate personnel
- Responsible for inventory and tracking of parts on hand.
- Responsible for maintaining assigned company vehicle, including but not limited to: repairs and maintenance, oil changes, cleaning, etc.
- Available on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Moves bases and machines as necessary at properties
- Attend regular Gaming Department meetings and share knowledge, work and repair methods with staff
- Responsible for adhering to all Company policies and procedures regarding the maintenance of key control of all gaming devices
- Must establish a thorough familiarity with all test equipment and support equipment (currency counters, PD61, and other related equipment)
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- 4 years of experience in the gaming/technical environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents as well as write routine reports and correspondence
- Identification that establishes identity
- Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
- Must possess valid Louisiana driving license
