Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a “Guest Services Main Banker” for Gold Dust West Elko. This property features a modern interior with the latest slot machines and table games including Blackjack, Craps, and 3-Card Poker. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintaining and controlling all paperwork throughout the shift
- Prepares the daily bank deposit of currency, checks, coin and other items
- Replenish all other cage banks with necessary currency and coin
- Process pit fills and credits
- Assist guests with the completion of credit/check cashing applications
- Performs all Guest Services representative duties and assist as needed
- Maintain compliance with the internal Company expectations and procedures
- Maintain compliance with Gaming Regulations, ICMPs and Title 31
- Follows all guidelines and procedures as established by management
- Promotes positive guest service by providing correct information and/or directions to guests
- Ensures daily paperwork from shift is submitted to Revenue Audit at completion of shift
- Assist in training new vault/main bank employees
- Verifies and transfers monetary inventory from the count room inventory to the vault
- Provide a positive work environment, encourage teamwork and cooperation within the department and with other departments
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Guest Services Manager and/or Supervisor
- Ensure proper equipment operation
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- 21 years of age, proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
- Must be fluent in English and have strong communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret common financial reports and documents
- Must have basic computer skills and ability to use 10-key
- Strong organizational and mathematical skills
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Communication skills that reflect a welcoming and friendly attitude towards all guests and coworkers at all times
- Ability to function as part of a team, remain calm and professional when under pressure
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
- Previous casino cage/guest services experience is preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
