Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Accurately complete all paperwork associated with the “drops” and adhere to all Nevada Gaming Regulations
- Opens pit boxes, revenue envelopes, and slot validates to sort and count the currency inside using the money counting machine
- Inputs totals by box number or table number in the computer
- Compares total fill and credit, openers and closers with the system generated reports
- Compares total amount of currency in the revenue envelope against amounts recorded on the envelope and records any variance
- Sorts and bundle all soft currency according to the denomination
- Totals and balances the same against the computer totals and with Accounting
- Matches the white and yellow copies of jackpot and fill slips
- Remits all tallied soft currency to the Cage and the necessary reports to Accounting
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- Computer knowledge, basic math and mechanical inclination are helpful
- High school diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
- Valid Nevada Gaming License
- Identification that establishes identity
- Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
