Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of “Barback/Busser” for Lady Caroline. Lady Caroline offers a unique opportunity to experience “The Land” from the water, cruising Lake Erie and the Cuyahoga River while traveling under historic jackknife bridges and taking in the downtown Cleveland skyline. All regular lunch, brunch and dinner cruises include a freshly prepared buffet and entertainment, while themed events can include dockside happy hours, murder mystery productions, wine tastings and concession-based dining options. Lady Caroline is docked at the Flats West Bank in downtown Cleveland with convenient employee parking.
This position is Seasonal Part-Time to December 2025

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Clean, set, and clear tables
- Assist servers with beverage service
- Remove dirty dishes and utensils from tables between courses and after guests leave
- Returns dirty dishes, glassware and utensils to dishwashing area
- Assists and communicates with food servers to maintain service efficiency and overall high guest satisfaction
- Remove trash and dirty linens
- Restock glassware
- Return clean china, silverware, glassware to dining room
- Bring all ice onboard, stock ice at buffets and bars
- Setup buffets, including water in warmers, ice in salad buffet, all serving utensils,
- Stock & Replenish buffet throughout cruise, including bringing hot and cold food from the galley
- Communicate food needs with the galley
- Break down and clean buffet and bus stations at end of cruise
- Stock soda stations
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- Must be available nights, weekends and holidays
- Friendly and outgoing, able to follow directions, able to lift up to 70 pounds
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours during shift
- Identification that establishes identity
- Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
