We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Data Intelligence Specialist - Data Engineer  to join the team!

The Business Data Intelligence Specialist - Data Engineer will :

• Design, develop, operate, and maintains software and data service platforms for streamlining, automating, reporting, analyzing, and visualizing JSC technology lifecycle processes; including : the solicitation, management, tracking, infusion, reporting of center technology
• Evaluate current technology and business processes and advise the leadership team on process improvements and information technology utilization
• Interface and integrate with existing NASA teams and software / APIs responsible for tracking technology including STMD STARPORT, TECHPORT and AppDat
• Ensure all new software remains in compliance with laws, regulations, NASA policies, standards, and technical procedures
• Provide team training on new systems and tools as needed
• The individual will need the technical skills to navigate various industry standard data systems; and the problem-solving skills to design innovative methods of connecting data systems where obvious keys / connections are absent
• Perform other duties as required
